§ 2. What we process and why
We process data needed to operate LunchOut:
- contact messages you send us (content, e-mail address, date),
- technical logs and security data (e.g. truncated IP, user agent, timestamps),
- cookies and similar technologies required for the site to work, analytics and advertising (where consent is given via the CMP),
- public lunch-menu information shown in the finder (sourced from venue posts and public pages — we do not treat restaurant dish lists as visitors’ personal data).
Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to / performance of a service when you contact us), Art. 6(1)(a) (consent for analytics/ads cookies), Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest: security, abuse prevention, improving the lunch finder).
§ 3. Recipients and transfers
Data may be processed by hosting, e-mail and analytics providers acting for the Administrator. Where tools involve transfers outside the EEA (e.g. Google Analytics after consent), appropriate GDPR safeguards are used.
§ 4. Retention and rights
We keep data as long as needed for the purpose or required by law, or until you withdraw consent / object effectively. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: President of the Personal Data Protection Office — uodo.gov.pl).
§ 5. Cookies
LunchOut uses cookies. Essential cookies support security and basic site functions. Analytics and advertising cookies run only after consent in the privacy centre (CMP). You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the CMP.
